Once we have DBImage1.Picture ....

Hi everyone,

Once we have the image showing in Form1, using
DBImage1.Picture.LoadFromFile(dlgOpenPicture.FileName),

is it possible to create a BlobFieldX from DBImage1.Picture (since we
have the Picture locally already), the thought being to thereafter
just assign that TBlobField to a Blob column of the table, with
something like this:

SQLQuery1.FieldByName('Pic').Assign(BlobFieldX);

If practical, and possible, would anyone please guide me on how?

"Pic" is the name of the column for pictures, or images.
