MySQL Client error [SOLVED]

Hi

I am trying to connect to MySQL with TMySQL51Connection which
apparently is the wrong connection, hence the error message.

How do I get a MySQLConn 6.0.0?

Client machine: Windows 7 x64 and Lazarus 0.9.30.4

Server: Windows 2003 x86 and MySQL 5.5.18

I believe the latest component we have is TMySQL55Connection, and it's
still in trunk (next release maybe). If you want to get your hands
dirty, feel free to create one or a better solution: change your dbms,
mysql sucks in terms of backward compatibility.

Using a 6.0 client with a 5.5 database is afaik not supported. You can
use older clients with a database but not newer clients. As leledumbo
mentioned, MySQL is bad in backwards compatibility but don't expext
anything in forwards compatibility.
If you don't want to ugrade your lazarus/fpc instalation your easiest
solution is to find a 5.1 client. 5.1 clients work well with 5.5
databases. You won't have the latest bug fixes in the client nor the
latest client features but TMySQL55Connection isn't using any of these
new features.

Basicly I would use any client just it works! However I can not find
an 5.1 client

No idea which parts are the server, and which the client but I'm sure
