DataSet filter lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- exdatis · 2012-05-26 11:51 Does anyone know, any problem to use DataSet.filter. e.g.      sqlquery.Filtered:= False;      sqlquery.Filter:= 'field_one = 0';      sqlquery.Filtered:= True;  I have no expirience for this possibility. I use Firebird (or PostgreSQL), SQLdb.  Experiences?  Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- goodname · 2012-05-26 12:48 Have used the filter. It is a where clause that can be changed during run time without having to re-prepare the query. Just set the filter then open or refresh the query. Not sure how it is actually implemented. The filter is client side implemented and does not handle some things such as "like" clauses. In these cases use the ServerFilter and be careful about escaping strings. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- exdatis · 2012-05-26 12:53 Thank you very much, goodname!
