Pasql SQL command interpreter: handy tool? lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2012-04-28 07:16 Hi all, Please find attached the pasql source code. Pasql is yet another command line interpreter that connects to a database and lets your run queries etc. It uses FPC's built in SQLDB database connectors and only requires your database client libraries to be installed (e.g. copy the dlls to the pasql.exe directory). It started out as a test program for the mssqlconn MS SQL Server and Sybase connector in FPC 2.6.1 and newer. Firebird support was added, as well as logging all statements SQLDB sends to the database. I recently added code for ODBC,Oracle,PostgreSQL,Sqlite, but those haven't yet been tested. It might work... or it might not In future, I want to submit it as an fpc sample program/tool, but I think it still needs a bit of polishing.... I'm just getting fed up a bit with tinkering with it and wanted to post it here to see if people can improve the code  Anyway, it does work for at least MS SQL Server, Sybase ASE and Firebird servers. Readme included; bug reports and updated code *) more than welcome Regards, BigChimp *) I'm probably less likely to respond soon to improvement requests without updated code though...
