So far so good! Now I am reading from this: http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Lazarus _Database_Tutorial#Lazarus_and_SQLite That:Code: [Select]the sqlite library is either in the system PATH...Then I get confused. There is so many possiblities, that I would like to know where I have to do this and how it's have to look like? Thank you Best regards Jean-Christophe ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jeanchristophe · 2012-04-26 13:07 I try to install the sqlite3 components from: usr/lib/lazarus/sqlite but when I compile, I have these messages:Code: [Select]/usr/lib/lazar us/0.9.30/components/sqlite/sqlitecomponenteditor.pas(63,58) Hint: Parameter "User" not used /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.30/components/sqlite/sqlitecomponenteditor.pas(33 0,1) Error: Can't create object file: /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.30/componen ts/sqlite/lib/i386-linux/gtk2/sqlitecomponenteditor.o /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.30/components/sqlite/sqlitecomponenteditor.pas(33 0,1) Fatal: Can't create object /usr/lib/lazarus/0.9.30/components/sql ite/lib/i386-linux/gtk2/sqlitecomponenteditor.o Please advice! You have 2 options: - build lazarus as root - copy the components/sqlite directory to a directory you have write access to and install the package from there ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jeanchristophe · 2012-04-26 16:07 Thank you for your answer ludob I found out too. I had no problems on debug, but still some on the install. I uninstall completely Lazarus and is on my way to reinstalle it. I try to do it on 2 machines, ubuntu and windows (virtualbox). I am using the version 0.9.30.2 because of the problems there is with the last version and Zeoslab component. If you get confused, it is because I want to move a MySQL database to a SQLite3.
