Filter Two Values in TDBF

I am using a component TDbf to access the data in my program. It turns
out necessary to filter the two values ​​together. For results to be
correct, must be displayed all the records dated later than 01/01/2007
and belonging to a particular group, eg B019. How to do this via code?

Do you have tried something like:

Filter := 'date_field>'''20070101''' and group_field='''B019'''';

I had tried that, but it was not working because I needed to filter
blank date and code at the same time.
