Picking up the certain database field value

Hello. I am a newbie.

This is the first time that i use the pascal based programming tool.

I have tried to make the dll(library) linked MYSQL.

I want to pick up and define the certain database field's value.

According to the picture I attached, am I doing right??

I had looked for the info from google and lazarus wiki and forum
really really hard, but I couldn't get anything.

Can you provide any useful link or a piece of advice?

What I want to make is
1. reading certain database field's value
2. and define it as variables
3. export

Please help me out.

But,, please note that I am the person who try to ask as less as I
