MySQL stored procedures again lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mirce.vladimirov · 2012-02-13 13:22 Did anyone tried using MySQL stored procedures with Lazarus 0.9.30-2-fpc-2.4.4 ? I have seen this http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=16236  and that says "fixed" but i'm not brave enough to try installing new lazarus unless someone says that this update is included in the latest  stable version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2012-02-13 13:53 You can always install another copy of Lazarus side-by-side, using --primary-config-path; see the wiki for details. Using --primary-config-path, you keep your configuration files for the 2 Lazarus separate, and allows you to just delete the new Lazarus directory (and, if you want to, associated primary config path) without any effects on your normal installation. I'd go for it, if I were you, if only to keep up with all those lovely new changes in Lazarus Ciao, BigChimp Edit: duh, Ludo is right of course... you had me at "installing new lazarus", though, mirce... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ludob · 2012-02-13 14:12 The mysql code is in FPC, not in Lazarus. I checked the latest release 2.6.0 and unfortunately the fix didn't make it. So you'll need to use 2.6.1 fixes (I checked that one also) or 2.7.1 trunk to use stored procedures. Both only available from svn.
