TDBLookupComboBox with multiple fields and lookup fields in TSQLQuery lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ruudveld · 2012-01-12 16:33 Hello! I have 2 problems: 1. I want a TDBLookupComboBox to show multiple fields. In Delphi this is done by add the multiple columns with a semic-colon to the ListField property. How can I do this in Lazarus, it gives me the error: field not found 'last_name; first_name'. 2. I want to use Lookup Fields in a TDBGrid. I would prefer to add the lookup fields to the SQLQueryDataSet, but without altering the SQL query. I hope for a solution to my problems! Thank you, Ruud ---------------------------------------------------------------------- atasoft · 2012-07-06 16:39 Hi, I have the same problem. How can I do this in Lazarus, it gives me the error: field not found 'last_name; first_name'. I solved the problem by creating new field 'fullname' in the query concatenating the 'last_name' and the 'first_name' e.g. select *, (last_name|| " " ||  first_name) as fullname from mytable
