[Resolved] How to change encoding in lookup list?

Hello,

I have lookup field and I have to convert values of this list from
cp1250 to utf8. How can I do this? OnGetText works only for current
value of field. When I click on grid lookup field the combo box open
with list contains question marks in char which are in cp1250. How can
I convert this list to utf8 before show?

Easy. Lazarus comes with a large set of encoding conversion tables.
Check the function ConvertEncoding in the unit lconvencoding. In
Lazarus 0.9.30 this unit is in lazarus/lcl but in lazarus svn it was
moved to components/lazutils

felipemdc yes I know and I know how to convert simple text from one
codepage to another but question is different. Normally for values in
data field I do this like in this article

is when I use lookup fields. In my db grid when I click lookup field I
get list with data from lookup and haow to convert this list?
