Resolved - lazarus use wrong mysql

Hi,

I found my problem whit transaction it's because before installing
Wampserver i am install mysql. Now i'm deinstall mysql I remove the
entire folder where mysql was install. but the attach database is
always present.

How i can say to lazarus which mysql  use.

This has nothing to do with Lazarus.

i would use google to find out how to handle multiple mysql-versions
on one machine. (Note that there's a difference between the mysql-
server and the mysql-client, too)

Afaik you can simply run the

Function TryInitialiseMysql(Const LibraryName: String; argc: cint;
argv: PPchar; groups: PPchar) : Integer;

function in the corresponding mysql<version>dyn unit with full path to
the client library you want to select.

You must do this however before the initialization of the form with
the connection component.

I am a newbie to Linux and Lazarus.

I am running two instances on mysql server on the same server, and
both server have a database named mysql.

i.e. mysql 5.1.30  running from /opt/lampp/bin/mysql/
and mysql 5.1.40 running from  /var/lib/mysql/

I am using a Lazarus component "My50SQLConnection" to connect to the
database and it connects correctly to mysql 5.1.40. I wish to redirect
the component to connect to mysql 5.1.30.
Any idea how to go about it?
