dbgrid focus especific column

Hi to friends i have problems with dbgrid i want after user input a
value give focus to specific column not next column as normal way in
dbgrid, u use next code but i dont got its works.

Code: [Select]begin

            if (StrToInt(DBGQcRep.SelectedField.Text)=1)  and (lnewRqc
= true) then

              DbgQcRep.SelectedField.FocusControl;
              DBGQcRep.Columns[3].Field.FocusControl;

some body who give waths i do wrong or how i can get that work.

Hi,
you should use

Code: [Select]DBGQcREP.SelectedColumn.Index:=nCol;
where nCol is the desired column number. Hope this can solve your
problem.
