Error while trying to open a Firebird Database again

I start my application, it opens a Firebird Database.
I start the same application for second time and it raises an error-
message:
'SQL Error: I/O error for file
"C:\......\timetable\.....FDB"
Error while trying to open file. The process cannot access the file
because it is being used by another process. .
Error Code: -902. can't format message 13:98 -- message
file C:\.........\timetable\firebird.msg not found.

Is there any way to solve this error ?

Just a guess, but it seems like your database file is not being
properly closed when your application exits.

Have you tried explicitly closing your connection during the
application shutdown?
