Database Newbie needs help

Hi everybody,

I have been programming a lot in times of Turbo Pascal and I have
written some fun programms using Lazarus.
Now I would like to use Lazarus to write a useful programm.
There is a SQL Database (MSSQL) I want to connect to and write a
program to add/edit/delete data in the tables.

Can anyone show me a link to a good documentation on how to get
connected to the database? This document should be in German or
English please.

thank you so much for the link i will look into it.. i was really
hoping to use tbdf but seems it is way out dated, guess i will be
using sql

Thanks for the links nicke85, but the tutorial is for MYsql. I'm
looking for something to connect to an existing Microsoft SQL
database.

Do you have a link for that as well?

Does Anybody know what properties need to be set in the Connector Type
of TSQLConnector?

I personally didn't work with MSSQL for now because i use only FB and
MySQL..
Maybe u can look into ZEOS forum to find your solution and combine
with Lazarus..

use SQLDB it can connect to mssql via ODBC
