Just starting out with Lazarus & Firebird and have a few questions...

Hello:

I hope to use Lazarus & Firebird running on a Slackware Linux PC to
create a database application that will be accessed through a web
site.

Here are my questions:
Is using linux a problem?Do I need any special database components to
work with Firebird in Lazarus?

you can use SQLdb components which is part of Lazarus component
library (LCL)
