How do I stop the "confirm delete" panel in a tdbf dbgrid? lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Roger king · 2011-02-25 20:07 I have a dbf address database linked to a dbgrid. I have created a custom panel to ask if the record for the named person should be deleted. If the yes button is clicked I want to delete the record. Instead I get the "Confirm Delete" message. I have set the dbgrid.options.dgConfirmDelete to false, without any effect. Clicking the yes button calls the dbNavigator.nbDelete function, but I can't see any option for ConfirmDelete in the navigators properties. How do I stop the default Confirm message? Regards Roger ---------------------------------------------------------------------- garlar27 · 2011-02-25 20:42 You have to remove the "dgConfirmDelete" from the TDbGrid.Options property. Just in case, I think TDbNavigator has omething similar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Roger king · 2011-02-26 20:36 Thanks for your answer,garlar27. I am not sure what you mean by "remove the "dgConfirmDelete" from the TDbGrid.Options property". I have set it to False. How do I remove it? Regards Roger ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Roger king · 2011-02-27 11:29 Thanks, garlar27. The confirm Delete was in the TBNavigator properties. I was looking for an Options property, as in the TDBF, but it was in the main section. Regards Roger
