Does anyone know of a way to get one to work a la Delphi?

Otherwise, I'll have to spend the money and switch.

Before spending money for the swich just give us more info on what do
you realy want from that "damn" DBLookupComboBox.

Hope we will be helpfull to save your money.

It was necessary to "seriously adjust" an inner join query method I
had used for Delphi/ADO/SQL Server in the past and simplify it for the
query used for the DataSource in Lazarus/zLib/SQLServer. 

The ListSource query was fine.

It is now working.

Trials and tribulations of different software?  Different stuff-
different method?  I'll be using this component a lot, so we'll see
how it goes...

Sure would be nice to have ADO/dbGo for Lazarus....
