Does anyone have good experience using Firebird with Lazarus?

I want to use it with Zeoslib.

I've used it extensively in my applications. Just make sure that you
extract the embedded Firebird zip file into your Lazarus directory as
well as the main directory of every project you create that uses
embedded Firebird.

In addition, to connect to the database using the embedded Firebird
dll using ZConnection, set the Protocol property of the component to
'firebirdd-X.X' at design time or at runtime. The extra 'd' at the end
of 'firebird' implies that you want to connect using embedded
firebird.
