Conceptual issue with DBGrid and Dataset exceptions.

Gentlefolk,

One generally handles exceptions by placing a 'try-except' structure
around the code where an exception may occur.

This is OK where the code that may cause an exception is compact.

What about a DBGrid-Datasource-Dataset structure where a user is
inputting data into the DBGrid and meets a constraint (for example
duplicate keys) which causes an exception. I cannot put a try-except
structure around all the DBGrid-Datasource-Dataset.

Any suggestions, directions????
