Are there any classes to connect to the CouchDB?

More details. I just learn about couchDB. CouchDB is database. I don't
need directly connection. I want read contacts from "Ubuntu One"
server. I read that "ubuntu one" store data in CouchDB but using JSON
as protocol for comunications. So if I use Lazarus Habari ActiveMQ
Client, then I can read this data without connection to the CouchDB?
