currency fields in dbgrid

hi there,

I've looked hard through the forums but i've been unable to find an
answer to my problem.

I've got a postgresql 8.4 dbase with tables with currency (money)
fields in them, but when i open the table using lazarusus built in
postgresql connector the dbgrid will not show the money fields
properly (all that is shown is £0.00 for whatever value is actually in
the field.)

the data is intact (i've user pgadmin to check), so my question is why
is lazarus refusing to show the data and is there a quick fix for
this.

What values do you see id DBGrid and what are you expecting ?

It works in:

Ubuntu 10.4 and Windows Vista
Lazarus 0.9.29
Date 2010-07-04
