I have Lazarus 0.9.28.2 beta and Firebird 1.5 was making the following
and it didn't work:
Table2.Close;
Table2.ParamByName('COD').ASInteger:=Table1COD.ASInteger;
Table2.Open;

The one that is ok, was like this:

Table2.Close;
Table2.ParamByName('COD').ASInteger:=Table1COD.ASInteger;
Table2.ExecSQL;
Table2.Open;

Which database components do you use ?
sqlDB ?

overall what is the sql of 'table2' ? if not a select (for exemple
delete or update) then you have to use ExecSQL not Open (this one is
usefull in the second proposition
