Regards Benny ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LacaK · 2010-01-21 06:20 There is also MDO, which is very similar to IBX from Delphi. http://sourceforge.net/projects/mdo/ But I am not sure about stabilty of Lazarus port, I have not use it, can somebody confirm if it really works ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JD · 2010-01-21 10:24 Use Zeos. The commands & components are very similar to the IB dataset in Delphi. In addition, you can use it to connect to many databases - MySQL, Postgres SQL, Firebird, SQLite, Oracle, Sybase etc with very minimal changes to your code. All you need is to change the database backend, the connection parameters and the connection protocol. It is very flexible & it has an active users forum.
