Firebird - which components should I use ?

Who knows why should I use ZeosLib instead of TIBConnection to
firebird database.
Are there any pros and cons ?
It possible to work with firebird comfortably without ZEOSlib ?

I prefer Zeoslib because it has similar concept of components to BDE,
so I can use Delphi documentation...

SQLdb with TIBConnection is worse than ZeosLib ?

I’m used to use IBX instead of BDE on Delphi .

I use UIB (Unified Interbase). I use it both with Delphi and Lazarus.
It can be compiled as component or class (very useful for non visual
application, for example server applications)

I use TIBConnection, works fine in linux console, windows. In local
network and via internet.

Even old PC (with TIBConnection), connects fine through internet with
our firebird 2.1 server(under linux).
From TIBConection I send without problem any firebird statement.
(EXECUTE BLOCK, EXECUTE PROCEDURE, VIEWS, etc)

The only issue for me is this

but with some workarround works fine.

I never has used Zeos, I can't say anything about it

@Kristal - You're right... IBX Rocks!

Zeos is NOT a BDE replacement, far from it. It is a matter of best
ideas/best pratices, a bit of thinkin', cook and stir for a while... )

No. Zeos is a brilliant (class)-library for db-work, They've enginered
it to be 1) easy to use, 2) scalable, 3) easy to maintain AND very
flexible!  Please have a look at their website
http://zeos.firmos.at/portal.php and browse the docs, you'll be
surprised. Actually They speak for themselves, Clever guys )

Today, no IBX! I use zeos on delphi too!!!!

I cannot find any help files (manuals) regarding ZEOSLib.
