ZEOS ZTable with MySQL

I've set up a ZConnection to a MySQL database, and have a ZTable
pointing to a table in the db.  The connection seems to work fine (all
my records are returned and I can navigate from start to finish)
except that I cannot edit the data.

The ZConnection, ZTable are both set to readonly=false, the dbedit
field is enabled and also readonly = false.  I cannot figure out why
the field is not editable from within my application.

What am I not setting correctly???
