Access violation with TZTable lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Luciano · 2009-07-28 08:58 Dear, I will installed Lazarus, the Zeos and Firebird on my laptop. The OS is Ubuntu 9:04. I can run applications in Lazarus and can also create databases with the Firebird via terminal. I wonder if anyone can help me the following problem: When I put a componte ZConnection, I usually connect it to the database, but when you put a Ztable and try to change the Active property to true is the error of the access violation. Any suggestions at least that part I can go to get help? My system is Ubuntu 9.04 (32bits) Lazarus 9.26.2-0 beta Fpc 2.2.2 Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Luciano · 2009-07-29 14:09 Hello! I used a suggestion of Lord_ZealoN, using the Lazarus component TIBConnection and it worked. But with the components of Zeos not use it, only with the components of the Lazarus. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lord_ZealoN · 2009-07-29 14:50 Quote from: lucfialho on July 29, 2009, 04:09:12 pmHello! Use SQLDB Then I'm glad to know that I served you for something usefull ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Luciano · 2009-07-29 15:05 Thank you for all. Regards. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Luciano · 2009-08-31 19:48 Hello! After a month or so, I could use the Zeos. I had to reinstall Ubuntu, formatting the disk. I installed the FPC, Lazarus and Firebird 2.1 per apt-get. The only difference is that Firebird is the Super Server 2.1. A hug to everyone. One detail: By enabling the connection to the database, a message appeared on libraries not found. I had to change the code of Zeos, build, uninstall and reinstall. (How can I put SOLVED the topic title?)
