Sorry if this is inappropriate - new user.
Delphi (2 - 4 ?) had a great simple setup that could create a d/b in
about 20 minutes.
Is there such a thing here ? Where is best place to start ? Any
videos/training ? tia

For local database there a example with data control and dbf in
Lazarus\examples\database

In Lazarus\components\paradox there are a Paradox' component.

For remote sql database, if you want, I can upload a litle example
with Firebird SQL (but you must install firebird server).

this is exactly what I was looking for. More questions are probably on
the way. Thanks  !!!
Starting d/b should be simple and primary for any language. At this
point will avoid proprietary apps and stay within object pascal.
