Master detail  problems

Hi,
I have had master detail working with Tdbf in delphi, but if I try the
same setup in lazarus, as soon as I try to insert a record in the
detail database I get an error stating that the database is not in
insert or edit mode.

If I try the same thing with a sqlite3 setup I get an acess violation

Probably the detail dataset is not in the edit- or insert-mode.
Calling dataset.edit solves that.

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion, I had tried that as onClick event from the
databasenavigatror :
if Button= nbInsert then "code" but same result, is there any other
event that could be used?
