Zeos 6.6.4-stable ZUpdateSQL strange behavior

Dear all,

I made small program only do insert,  modify, delete process on table
with 2 field using 1 form contain dbgrid, dbnavigator, zconnection,
zquery, zupdatesql zeosdbo 6.6.4-stable installed on lazarus
0.9.26.2-fpc-2.2.2-win.

Project compiled with no error and running well, when doing insert
record saved with blank information but when modify blank inserted
record can saved normally or delete record with successful.

I try to remove zupdatesql component and recompile project do the same
thing above, now insert process can save information into table not
blank also modify and delete process is fine.

This is strange behavior with zupdatesql component. Is there any bugs
reported about this?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi!
I can see that you could installed Zeos , do you using PostgreSQL as
database ?

Hi Macaruchi,

No I'm not using Postgre I'm using MySQL as backend.
