Need help with MySQL

I am using v0.9.24 and Ubuntu 7.10

I have been successful in using the TSQLQuery, TSQLTranaction and
TSQLConnection with MySQL v5.0 in editing, inserting and deleting
records.

I can read blob fields but I still cannot update a Blob, either from
reading a file and streaming it to the SQLQuery or using the
Clipboard.

Can someone please give some examples of how to do this in this
environment. It will be appreciated very much. Thanks in advance.

0.9.24 has probably fpc 2.2.0, that's too old for this. Use at least
fpc 2.2.2 or even 2.2.4rc1
