SIGSEGV exception when using lNet and PQConnection lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wimpie · 2009-02-22 19:40 Hi All I get a SIGSEGV exception in OpenSSL from lNet on application exit when I use lNet together with PQConnection. I can't really continue working without using these two components. I will appreciate any ideas, fixes or workarounds. I can use both components independantly, but not in the same app. The procedure to replicate is: New project Drop lNet TCP componet Drop PQConnection With PQConnection fill in in Obj Inspector DatabaseName := testdb Hostname := 127.0.0.1 Password := test UserName := aname Connected := true <---IMPORTANT Run Exit Get exception 'External: SIGSERV' at ErrRemoveState(pid: cInt) {OpenSSL.pas 1001:15} My current setup is: Kubuntu 8.10 i386 Lazarus 0.9.26 beta (2009-2-20) FPC 2.2.2 lNet 0.6.2 (0.6.3 also have the problem) libssl 0.9.8 libcrypto 0.9.8 Thanks Wimpie ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wimpie · 2009-02-23 07:23 If anybody is interested, this exception can be prevented by commenting out the lines in the initialization and finalization sections of lNetSSL.pp. This will most likely break SSL functionality, but solves the problem for the moment.
