Pervasiv SQL Problem with ODBC Connect

Hey,

im trying to get an existing delphi project to lazarus. There is a
Pervasive SQL Database, wich can be used with ODBC.
Now i tryed to get this working with lazarus. But it wont work. The
ODBC Connection can be made with Delphi and with PHP but not with
Lazarus. I use the TODBCConnection. If i set the Connection on True in
the Objectinspector i get "Access violation" and if i set it in
runtime i get "SIGSEGV".

Can Somebody help me?
I´m Using Windows Vista 64.

Delphi generates 32-bit code, also on vista 64. So that can not work
at all. Or maybe you have only installed the 32-bit odbc driver.

Try to find another 64-bit application and test if your odbc setup is
correct. Although the AV suggest a bug with the odbc components on
64-bit windows.

I Tryed on a other pc with a 32 Bit Windows to run a connection to
that Database with lazarus. It didnt worked. Also i tryed on Ubuntu
32Bit to get it done but it wont work at all.

can somebody give me an example?

Do you get a more usefull error-message if you run it outside the
debugger?
