Tsqlquery -ora-1062

I connected to database with TOracleConnection - work
 when i  use command "select dvs from dvstable" is error! ora-1062.
 when i  use command "select Count(dvs) from dvstable" then is ok!

 it on fedora 8;
 if on windows is ok!

Can you give me the structure of the table? (How's the dvs column
defined?)
And are you on 64-bit fedora? (and 32 bit windows?)

On Fedora 10_64 with fpc-2.2.2 and lazarus-0.9.26 works fine.
Appears on 32 bit version of Fedora(same config as above) when
TSQLQuery.SQL is modified.
TSQLQuery is closed and SQL is empty.
TSQLQuery.SQL.Add('select max(field) from table');
TSQLQuery.Open;

TSQLQuery.Close;
TSQLQuery.SQL.Clear;
TSQLQuery.SQL.Add('select field from table');
TSQLQuery.Open; -----> ORA-01062: unable to allocate memory for define
buffer

I tried to reproduce it and it works in i386 and x86_64.

So can you provide a compilable example? And how's the dvstable
defined? (Which I asked before...)
