Mysql50Connection.Open fails if I call it in thread....

I have problem with MySql50Connection.Open under Linux - when I call
this in thread, application gives me exception at 00000000: Access
violation. 
This is strange because same code executed under windows works
perfectly (same Laz and FPC version - v0.9.24 / 2.2.0), in linux this
works only if I call open function in normal program cycle, not in
thread. 
Is there some way to make it work ?
