problem with MYSQL components

Hello,

I am having problems getting the SQL components to work. Setting the
AfterConnent Events gives me an error message `Unable to create
method`. (Started a new project, added MYSqLConnection50,
SQLTransaction and Query). Also the Active property in SQLTransaction
refuses to set Active to true. Tried this both on a windows as a linux
installation with the same problem. The MYSQL server is in daily use
with delphi en C++ application and i am trying to access the same
database with Lazarus.

Someone has an idea, i am probably doing something stupid wrong but
can not find out what.

Please see the posts in the topic 'MySQL Component ?' - this works
fine though it is only a crude demo. I used Lighty2Go Web Server &
MySQL dbms on XP. There is no need to put the components on the form
BTW.
