Using sqlite3.dll directly lazarus / 16-Databases ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Friday · 2008-05-06 18:47 Hello, what I want is to access the dll directly without TDataSet and other components, to simply access the database with the SQL stataments. But to do that I would have to make a header unit containing all the functions. I couldn't find such a unit at the official homepage, but doesn't it exist at all?? The reason why I want to do it this way is because I want to keep it simple without dozens of components and without reading hundreds of tutorials. I just spent the whole day reading stuff about how to work with sqlite and lazarus but still can't even get any data out of the database. And since I have a very little experience with MySQL with PHP, I know at least how it works and how I get the data. I hope there's a way to use the dll similarly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Phil · 2008-05-06 23:38 Quote from: "Friday"Hello, what I want is to access the dll directly without TDataSet and other components, to simply access the database with the SQL stataments. You should be able to find what you need in the sqlite3 unit included with Free Pascal. Thanks. -Phil
