Hi, I'm a beginner and I use MSDE to replicate the structure of two DB
I've at work.
I've a problem using TODBC components; if I use an Access DB, with an
Access ODBC, I can populate a DBGRID and I can move on the dataset
(First, NExt, Last ecc.). But when I use a similar ODBC connecting to
the MSDE engine on the development PC the TSqlQuery doesn't work.
The ODBC is right, by Excel I can see the records; in the Pascal code
it works correctly till the Open command, when the RecordCountProperty
is correctly set to the number of records required; but any other
command such as Next, First, FieldByName and similar causes an
exception.
Any idea? Thanks
