Hello

Please, manner has to put about informations to that statement in
inspector of object for component SQLQuery stInsert or other. And if
it from level of code give make.

Because beguile following problem.

SQLQuery.InsertSQL := 'insert into test value( ''1'', ''test1'' )';
SQLQuery.ExecSQL;
SQLQuery.Close;

Error reports me : statement not set

Please about assistance very

Components : MySQL50Connection, SQLQuery, SQLTransaction
Lazarus version for Windows.

I am trying this, but I get the message:


Unit1.pas(47,26) Error: Incompatible types: got "AnsiString" expected
"TStringList"


because of this line:

Try ...

  SQLQuery1.InsertSQL.Clear;
  SQLQuery1.InsertSQL.Add('insert into test value( ''1'', ''test1'' );
  SQLQuery.ExecSQL;
  SQLQuery.Close;

to get rid of the error, but to get rid of the error, but I don't
think this will do what you want.  As far as I know, StatementType
refers to SQLQuery1.SQL property and the ExecSQL method attemps to
execute the contents of this property.

The InsertSQL, UpdateSQL, and DelteSQL properties are used by other
methods, e.g. SQLQuery1.Insert etc.
