demo program mysql_demo_20050408 modified for SQL5 and with fixed bug
.

The link to download is at the end of the page and is MySql5Test.zip

Can you update the wiki? Then I will upload the zip file to lazarus-
ccr as mysql_demo_20070508.zip.

I have executed a deepened analysis of the modifications that I have
made and this is the result.

When I try to load the demo for the firtst time I receive this error :

Class "TMySQLConnection" not found

So I have fix it putting a Connection components on the form and
changing the code like below from :

  Buttons, ComCtrls, mysql4conn, sqldb;

  { TFormTryMySQL }

But at this point when I run the program I receive a
SQL syntax error :

This problem has been resolved when I change the value of the property
below of the SQLQuery components
Quote
SQLQuery.ParseSQL:=false;
SQLQuery.ReadOnly:=true;

and I have recompiled the program.
Like say me bram .
But I don't exactly understand why now work because when I open the
project the value are the default

The modification that I have made in the ConnectButtonClick procedure

are insignificant for the operation of the program and can deleted .

Vincent, I believe that therefore it is not the case to modify the
WIKI because the code is substantially not changed .
In any case this evening I will verify if it is necessary to make it .

I have verified and I believe that the only modification to make to
the WIKI would be the link to download the demo program.
But I could translate the article in Italian  :wink:
