I'm trying with TSDFDataSet but it seems  not work .

On my form I have put a TSDFDataSet where I define 2 item like
ftString and I have assigned a file name where save data.
Then I have put a TDataSource connected with my TSDFDataSet and then a
TDBNavigator connected to the datasource.
At the end I have put a TDBGrid connected with TDataSource but if I
try to define the columns I can't see the field name in the dropdown
FieldName.  :evil:

Why ?? Some example !!

TSDFDataSet work on windows and Linux (or don't work) ?

I have uncovered that the two components have been converted from
delphi components.
I have download the originals components and I have successful
recompiled the example with Lazarus .
Now I am studying it.

The following works fine with me:

The file /home/ragnar/gurus.txt looks exactly like this:

I have a TSdfDataSet, TDataSource, TDBGrid and TDBNavigator on the
form, and the delimiter prop set to comma. 

Everything works just fine.  Can't get the filter property to work,
 though - anyone knows how to set the filter?

I have developed a little application that use SdfDataSet and the
Tagraph
to manage my Aquarius .
