Field Editor don't appears on Lazarus/Linux. Why?

Hello guys...

I'm here again to know how to fix this other problem.
I saw that the Field Editor, which usually appears on Lazarus/Win,
doesn't appears in Lazarus/Linux. I like to know why and if somebody
know how to fix it. I am very interested to fix it myself and send
patch to developers team but first I want to know why it happens and
the better way to solve it. Any suggestion?

maybe the field editor is shown behind the code editor...?
