Is it possible to access MySQL WITH data-aware components?

If so, how?  (point me to some docs please)

Yes I have looked at those before.  As I remember it from about 6
months ago, the compnents are not fully data aware.  Since everything
is based around queries, you can't update using dataaware components
like DB Navigator. I have been using a product called "DAC for MYSQL"
with Delphi and I had hoped that a similar capability had shown up
with Lazarus.  I would even be willing to pay a resonable fee for it.
 As it stands now, Lazarus takes about 4 times the work (and time) to
create an ap as does Delphi, just because it doesn't have fully data
aware components.
