i hope this helps a bit people that still have problems installing
sqlite..

(1)
download "lazarus snapshot" from:
http://www.de.freepascal.org/lazarus/
at the time i am writing, you should have:
Lazarus-0.9.11-20060109-win32.exe
please note that this is COMPLETELY UNTESTED SOFTWARE.
(2)
download "SQLite" from: http://www.sqlite.org/download.html
at the time i am writing, you should have: sqlitedll-3_2_8.zip
(3)
download "sqlite3package" from:
http://www.geocities.com/camara_luiz/sqlitepackage.zip
(4)
install lazarus.
(5)
copy "sqlite3.dll" in your lazarus directory and in your project
directory.
(6)
copy "sqlite3package" in your "lazarus\components" directory.
(7)
run lazarus, follow menu "Components -> Open Package File (.lpk)" and
choose the file "sqlite3laz.lpk" in the "sqlite3package" directory.
press "Compile" and when the compilation is finished press "Install".
if everything went well in the tab "Data Access" you'll see two
components: "TDataSource" and "TSqlite3Dataset".
place both on your form and you are ready to code! :-D
