Edit in TDBGrid

Hello.
I have a TSQLQuery and connected to it TDBGrid. I can change data in
table over code using Query.Edit and Query.Post, but when I edit cells
in DBGrid this changes seems unvisible to program (Query.Modified show
nothing). Why I can't edit over DBGrid?

receiving this error No update query specified and failed to generate
one (No fields for inclusion in where statement found) at line
qCurve.ApplyUpdates.

I found the solution. I included pfInKey for primary key field in
ProviderFlags.

The other question:
How can I know if there was any modifications in dataset before
calling ApplyUpdates?
