Suddenly debugger will not start. lazarus / 12-Debugger ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2017-07-26 15:48 what does QuoteDwarf Error: Could not find abbrev number 71 [in module D:/Lazarus/Projects/TurboBird/trunk/TurboBird_New.exe] means? What should I look for? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thaddy · 2017-07-26 16:13 Either GDB or the (external) linker can't find the external debug info. You probably have more dwarf errors.... It is not FPC or Lazarus related. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2017-07-26 16:37 Quote from: Thaddy on July 26, 2017, 06:13:06 pmEither GDB or the (external) linker can't find the external debug info. I do not use external debug info. I'll just assume you mend debug info, external or not. Quote from: Thaddy on July 26, 2017, 06:13:06 pmYou probably have more dwarf errors.... OK, that is interesting, how can I see the rest of the dwarf errors? Compiler should work always. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2017-07-26 17:03 Quote from: Cyrax on July 26, 2017, 06:59:48 pmDo you mean debugger? Yes I meant debugger thank you fixed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Cyrax · 2017-07-26 17:07 taazz : If you are really using FPC 2.6.4, then please check if FPC 3.0.2 or the release candidate of 3.0.4 helps. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2017-07-26 17:28 Quote from: Cyrax on July 26, 2017, 07:07:24 pmtaazz : If you are really using FPC 2.6.4, then please check if FPC 3.0.2 or the release candidate of 3.0.4 helps. that is a slippery slope, changing compilers in lazarus is not as simple as changing a number of path entries, I have to go through the defines to make sure that it will not change the compilation path to something hiding the problem. Not something I look forward to. In any case I'm going to revert back to a working point in my svn repository for now and see if that helps.
