have Evaluate/Modify display a value in hexadecimal?

When debugging a program I want to display the value of a variable as
hex. In Delphi this works by adding ',x' to the expression:

MyVariable,x

This appears not to work in Lazarus. How do I accomplish that in
Lazarus?

(Lazarus 1.6.4 on Windows)

the ",x" syntax doesn't exist (yet)

Eval/Modify hasn't got formatting options yet at all.

Watches can be set in the properties of each watch.

But it's a 1.8 feature.
