Local window, variable list doesn't stay sorted

Lazarus 1.6.0 with FPC 3.0.0

In the Local Variables list window I can click on the "Name" column to
sort the variables, but when in debug mode when I step through one
line in my code, the variables become unsorted. My log in won't work
in the bug tracker.

Is this a bug? Or is there a setting I have to set to keep the local
vars sorted?
