Is there an immediate window where I can print the value of variables? lazarus / 12-Debugger ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bulrush · 2016-06-12 18:16 Lazarus 1.6.0 and Freepascal 3.0.0 on Windows 7/8. When debugging I noticed there are several windows, such as a watch window, and a local variable window. However neither of these windows can show me the value of stringlist.Count. Apps like MS Access have an immediate window to print the value of a property or variable. Does Lazarus have the same thing? If so how do I use it? Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jkey · 2016-06-12 18:45 Hello, Move mouse cursor to your StringList variable, and a hint window will show all its details, like FCountOpen View/Debug windows/Watches, and add StringList.FCount in order to show its value permanently ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2016-06-12 21:23 http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/GDB_Debugger_Tips#Inspecting_data_t ypes_.28Watch.2FHint.29 Stringlist.count is IIRC something like Stringlist.flist.fcount ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bulrush · 2016-06-13 19:20 Thank you!
