Debugging sqldb in Lazarus

Hey,

Can anyone explain to me how to debug sqldb within Lazarus on Windows?
I tried a few things already, but I can't seem to get it to work.

What are the steps needed? I've tried recompiling the fcl-db with
OPT=-dw but I'm missing some step..

Probably you must put paths to sqlDB source units to ypur project /
options/ search paths ...

I dont know if you can (or if it is a good idea) to recompile in
place.

copy the sources of the package and recompile.

also it is -gw

sqldb and fcl-db are two different packages (and in two different
package level, fpc vs lazarus). debugging lazarus package is as simple
as turning debug options in the .lpk settings. fpc packages need to be
recompiled and reinstalled (assuming the directory differs).

Turns out I needed to turn on debug in the sqldblaz package. Thanks
for the pointers!!
