[SOLVED] Intel syntax for debugger possible? lazarus / 12-Debugger ---------------------------------------------------------------------- poed6xDMzRp7 · 2014-02-03 16:39 I'm using Lazarus under Linux and I just want to know if it's possible to make the assembler to display Intel syntax instead of AT&T. If yes, how? I tried this: -eval-command="set disassembly-flavor intel" without success, it gives an error. If that is really possible, what should I do to make it work? Thank you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2014-02-03 16:56 What error? The eval command, is how it should work. Maybe the quotes nee to be set different on linux. Not sure how the fpc TProcess is parsing them (and if it differs between OS). Also note, that there is a report, that GDB may become less stable in that mode. It is not known why, but in that case (where it actually runs the app, but then gdb crashes), it clearly is a bug in gdb, that can not be fixed in lazarus. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- poed6xDMzRp7 · 2014-02-03 19:37 Quote from: Martin_fr on February 03, 2014, 05:56:08 pmWhat error? Thanks for helping! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2014-02-03 20:35 ah you are on the 1.0x branch, I overlooked that. Just do  ExecuteCommand('set disassembly-flavor intel', []); Difference is, if it fails, it will not be ignored. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- poed6xDMzRp7 · 2014-02-03 20:41 Quote from: Martin_fr on February 03, 2014, 09:35:44 pmah you are on the 1.0x branch, I overlooked that.
